Guided Rabbit hunts in Maine...Our specialty!
Guided rabbit hunting in Maine is a sport for all ages. Fast paced and lots of action. Each day will start when we load the dogs and head for a rabbit thicket. When we arrive at our hunting grounds, the dogs will be equipped with GPS tracking collars and released from the truck to start your days hunt. Getting ahead of the dogs while they circle the rabbit is the task at hand. The excitement builds as the beagles circle and head in your direction in hopes of getting a glimpse of a rabbit. With any luck and a well placed shot, you'll harvest yourself a Maine snowshoe hare. Each hunter can take up to 4 rabbits per day. A mid day tailgate lunch followed by an afternoon of chasing snow shoe hares will bring the day to an end. Whether your looking for a family hunting trip, or getting a bunch of friends together to enjoy Maine hare hunting at its finest, give Briar Run a call. All group sizes welcome. Season date's: October 1st thru March 31st
Resident small game hunting license fee: $15.00
Non-resident small game license fee: $75.00 (full season)
Non-resident 3 day small game license fee: $50.00 ( 3 consecutive days)

RATES
$200.00 per day for an individual hunter

$150.00 per person per day for group of 2 or more
$400.00 per person for a 3 day booked hunt
$700.00 per person for a 6 day booked hunt
Group rates also available. Prices vary depending on number of hunters. Gather up some friends or family and come up to camp. Run lots of rabbits, enjoy an "at home atmosphere" , and relax. Leave it all up to us and feel at home. Give us a call today.

*All rates include lodging, transportation and a mid day tailgate lunch
*Kids age's 15 and under hunt for FREE with paying adult.
*50% of total package cost are due at booking. Deposits are non-refundable, however if you must cancel, the deposit will be honored for a hunt the following year if cancelled prior to 30 days of your booked hunt.
**Item's needed for the hunt
*hooded sweatshirts
*hats, gloves, warm clothing
*hunter orange (1 piece )
*wool pants and coat (not necessary but will keep you warm when wet)
*appropriate foot wear (insulated rubber boots are best
*weapon of choice.... 410, 16 guage, 12 guage or bow and arrow
Snowshoes are recommended for most times throughout the rabbit hunting season. If you have your own, your more than welcome to bring them. We do have snowshoes available upon request.
